Hospice Caledon Campaign
Hospice Caledon will soon be launching our next phase of fundraising to ensure the sustainability of our ongoing operations. This will ensure that Hospice Caledon - will continue to provide compassionate, supportive service through our Community Programs and Bethell House.
The Local Health Intrgration Network - funds approximately 40% of our operating expenses for Bethell House and our Community programs. We rely on the generousity of donations and organizations to ensure that everyone receives the support and services that they will need at some point in their lives - free of charge.
Admission to Bethell House
Some specific criteria have been developed for admission to Bethell House. The home is free of charge and open primarily to residents of the Central West LHIN (Local Health Integrated Network). Click here to view our catchment area.
Admission is predicated on a life expectancy of less then three months. Priority will be given to those living alone or having trouble coping.
Bethell House Staffing:
The key to achieving the mission of providing the highest standard of hospice care is the seamless integration of a multi-disciplinary team. Family members, physicians, specially trained hospice staff, registered nurses, personal support workers and other professionals will form a network of care and support for the client and family at Bethell House.
Volunteer Opportunities:
There is always a need for hospice volunteers. A wide range of volunteer opportunities are supported by specialized training. Please contact our Manager of Volunteers at 905-951-3534 to discuss the best fit for you.
